Sophie Harding’s innocent, childlike paintings take viewers of all ages to a colorful wonderland of whimsical wild creatures, dinosaurs, farm animals, dogs and cats. Born in Southern England into an artistic family, Harding was encouraged to follow her creative impulses and sold her first painting at age 16. Studying art, design, fashion and textiles, Harding uses a variety of artistic media in her work which has celar native and fine art influences. A renowned children’s book and magazine illustrator, Harding also creates fanciful images for greeting cards, gift wrap and home décor items.
